Volunteer Opportunities

WEEKEND GATHERINGS
 Set-Up/Take Down . A team of people who come early and set up the sanctuary and children's rooms. This is done on a rotational bais.

 Hospitality. Jesus opened his arms and loved all those He came in contact with, whether rich or poor, young or old. The Hospitality Team gladly and warmly welcomes every guest that passes through our doors with that same kind of love.

Greeting/Ushers: The Greeter Team is determined to ensure that all people who come through the doors of RLFC feel welcomed, cared for and genuinely loved.

CHILDREN / TEENS
 Nursery. This group cares for the infants in our nursery. Caregivers serve on a rotational basis and are partnered up with 2 other persons. Training provided.

 REAL Kids . This group cares for or preschool and primary age kids in our church, reading Bible stories to toddlers or teaching in Children's Church. Teachers serve on a rotational basis. Training provided.

 Thrive Youth .Opportunities to work with local high school and junior high school youth in the area. Some grew up in church, many have never been.

WORSHIP
 Sound and Production Team. This team works with the sound, lighting, projection, and other technical aspects for weekend gatherings and other special events.

 WOW Worship Team. if you play an instrument or if you sing, or if there is some special song you could do at gatherings, please let us know who you are. Indicate below what you do.

MINISTRY TEAM GROUPS
 Our Own Back Yard . We seek to show God's love in a real way to those most in need. Help prepare and serve a hot meal in the streets of downtown Tacoma.

Celebrate Recovery. Help those searching to find the light of God. Both adult and youth opportunities available.

Servant Evangelism. Do you have a servant's heart? Do you love to help others and see the love of God expressed in personal and meaningful ways? This group meets regularly to perform acts of service and kindness to demonstrate God's love for people.

Food ministry. The food service team is a dedicated and incredibly important part of many aspects of our church. Join them in going the extra mile to bring great meals, convenience, and pleasure through their gifting and talents.

Wear It Out. is a ministry that provides gently-used clothing free of charge to anyone who needs it – infant, child, or adult.

ADMINISTRATION/COMMUNICATION ARTS

Administration. Day to day administrative tasks designed to help the staff.

Web Site. Would you like to learn and help with new technologies? Whether you like web design, graphic design, or programming, there is a spot for you.

Publishing. Making brochures, flyers, pamphlets, any and everything publishing related.

 INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH
 Outreach. If you are interested in short-term, long-term, foreign, or domestic outreach, please let us know. There are many people within the church going to many different places, in teams and as individuals, such as Mexico and India. We want to know if this desire is in your heart!
