Regarding Momentum

RLFC Community,

I can’t believe how fast the last 17 years have flown by. What is now Real Life Family Center started with 23 people in a 50 year old, run down church building. We began with little resources, but lots of anticipation and expectation. We had vision, passion and frankly, not much else. Again and again over these years we have watched God show up time after time as we have done our best to radically and faithfully follow Him. We have moved from building to building to building; launched ministry after ministry after ministry, and God has never failed us. He has consistently moved on the hearts of His people to accomplish what He has for us. Along the way RLFC has grown from dozens to hundreds to well over a thousand, and we have seen tremendous transformation and life change along the way. It is never boring following God passionately.

In that 17 years, God would bring us to certain "faith moments" where it was risky and exhilarating to dare to follow Him. Moving into Brouillet Elementary, launching a second campus, building orphanages in Mexico, moving into our current building, beginning our own Resource Center and beginning our work in Kenya all marked exciting steps of corporate faith. We are at another one of those watershed moments. Our Momentum campaign is designed to Unite the people of RLFC around God’s vision for us as well as Inspire us to raise the necessary resources to fund our ever increasing ministry. For 2000 years the churches around the world have been passionately and sacrificially giving themselves to share the profound message of hope and renewal of our Savior. We are part of that legacy.

It is our turn, in our generation to do all we can to continue that tradition. We must not shrink back or shirk our responsibility. We must stand up and be counted among the faithful. Thank you for being part of God’s Momentum!!
