Wear It Out – the free clothing store 16515 Park Ave. South, Spanaway. |
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. - Hebrews 13:16
Wear It Out is a ministry that provides gently-used clothing free of charge to anyone who needs it – infant, child, or adult.
WIO is a partnership of Real Life Family Center and Bethel Community Services. It was created to provide a free clothing source for the children of the Bethel School District, but we have expanded our reach to all of western Pierce County. We have responded to victims of house fires when seen on the news, and natural disaters, such as the flooding victims in Lewis County.
The Ministry leaders are Penny Burgard and Joyce Beebe.
Wear It Out runs solely on clothing donations and the help of volunteers. Check out our section of the Ministry Hallway for current activities and needs.
If You Would Like to Help: there is always a need for people to sort & hang clothing; help customers & bag their items; do yardwork such as pruning & edging; do computer work such as creating flyers.
