Overview: Making resolutions is very common as the calendar page hits January 1. Rather than the same old same old resolutions we thought we should go deeper. As we enter into 2012 we are going to take a look at the "real me" that God has crafted each of us to be. We will work through the lesser versions of ourselves and by the end of the series a better, freer version will emerge.
January 7-8
The Me I Used to Be
As we begin the journey to the Best Me I Can Be we must first deal with the Me I Used to Be. Along this journey we will all experience dry, dark valleys and feelings that we are isolated and alone. These valleys serve a very important purpose and if we can learn from that we can emerge better than ever.

Self help books. Self improvement seminars. Many, many resources to help you work hard at changing. We all have the tendency to TRY SO HARD to be a better person. While self discipline will bring about some change it can also wear you out. Is there another way? The answer is yes! Instead of trying harder, in this message we will learn to "try softer."
