When I found out that Pastor Thom had gone to be with God, I really just couldn't believe it. I kept thinking "no, I'm sure they mean somebody else" and I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that I won't be seeing Thom again until we are all united in Heaven. On Sunday, I kept expecting to see him come up and shake my hand or give me a pat on the back and a smile. It's funny how such small gestures like a "hello how are you?" or a smile of acknowledgment can mean so much to somebody! I know his kindness meant a lot to me.

The memorial service for Pastor Thom Carlson will be held on Saturday, February 27 at 2 PM at the Church for All Nations.  The address is: 111 112th Ste E, Tacoma, WA 98445 (in the Parkland area).  You may get directions from their website: www.churchforallnations.org.

My child, In this lowest of valleys I am here. Rest in my presence as I hold you so very close. Know that I am grieving with you and at the same time rejoicing with the angels as I welcome home my precious son. I know you need him, love him and miss him desperately, but please find comfort knowing that I have a perfect plan. I know this takes tremendous faith so hold on tight to me on this journey along life's path. Your gravest danger is giving up, ceasing to believe that I can still do wondrous new things in your world.

Good friend, and brother to all. You're going to be missed, but we'll all see you in the Morning!

Thom had minimal life insurance, so Sheri needs our help. With all she's going through, let's make sure finances aren't another hurdle.

Although we only had the great pleasure to know Thom for about 2 years, we were blessed deeply. His joy, laughter and genuine love for all was at times overwhelming. We will miss you my friend. Not forever but just for now.

Tom was a man not who fond you and made you feel welcome , when you walked through the doors of the church . You could all ways hear him saying to some one , Hi I'm Pastor Tom or I'm Tom . He was a man of many Hats , many Talents , and many Loves . His Wife and God being at the top of the list . I just wish I was half as good of a Man and Man of God as he was . Ride on in to the Havens Big Tom we Love Ya Man ! !

I was attending my sisters memorial service Saturday at the community center in Roy Wa.. I walked outside to pull myself together, still trying to grasp the fact my little sister was gone.....i heard the sound of tires skidding and looked up..it was your Pastor Thom hittin the brakes and shaking his head knowing what was going to happen.
