We will be watching a very important DVD “Our Anchor in Times of Storm” by Dr. Charles Stanley. Talking about America, given this past 4th of July.

Real Life Women Mount Rainier Hike
Saturday, August 7th
Meet at RLFC so we can ride up to Paradise together. We will leave at 8am. Easy hike with a paved hiking trail. Lunch will be at the new Visitors Center and there are bathrooms. Bring: a water bottle, snacks and money for lunch. Wear: tennis shoes/hiking boots and dress in layers.

Paint Tacoma Beautiful
Do you have a heart to serve? Would you like to help paint a home for a senior citizen? There are 3 dates available – you can sign up for any one or all Saturdays, whatever dates you are available to help. You will need to bring your own paint brush, scraper and a sack lunch. Be sure to wear old clothes!

I am really excited about all that God is doing in and through Real Life Women and I don’t want to leave you out! Back To School Outreach
It is time for our second annual Back To School supply drive. We are partnering with Bethel Family Center this year to provide backpacks and needed school supplies for their families. We will be collecting these supplies for the entire month of August (through the weekend of the 28th-29th).Get a list of supplies from the Information Center. Donation bins will be located in the main hall by the front doors. Please help us make this a great event. Last year we were able to fully equip 200 kids with new backpacks and supplies. REAL LIFE FAMILY CENTER
Growth Process
At Real Life Family Center we have a strategy for training believers and making disciples. Using our five purposes of Worship, Evangelism, Fellowship, Discipleship and Ministry, as foundation, we have developed a series of equipping courses to help every new believer and new person attending our church to get active and involved in the membership and ministries of the local church.
101 Class: How to Become a Member:
Discover RLFC’s vision and values and the principles that drive our ministry.
201 Class: How to Grow Spiritually:
Discuss the foundation principles, Christian growth tools, to get to a solid and mature relationship with God.
(101 Class is a prerequisite for 201)
301 Class: How to Begin My Ministry:
Find your Spiritual Gifts and calling through practical steps of discovery.
(201 Class is a prerequisite for 301)

INSTE Bible College
is the INStitute of Theology by Extension, a structured discipleship program that helps you learn your Bible like never before. You will find your faith in God growing stronger, and your relationship growing deeper. INSTE will make you think, cause you to ask questions, and leave you with a more secure handle on what you believe. The first level consists of four semesters. Each semester is 14 weeks long. The first 2 cover basic topics in discipleship and Christian beliefs. The other two are a survey of the Bible.
