Overview: Tough Questions…About God was the November 2009 groundbreaking series for RLFC that sold more than four times more DVD & CD sets than any previous series. In that series we explored the evidences for God in nature, science, logic and reason. This is the second part of that incredibly popular series.  In this series, we will explore the evidence for God in history, eyewitness testimony and historical writings.

March 6-7
One Way…Really?
Can there really just be one “true” religion? Isn’t Christianity arrogant and exclusive? In this first week of this challenging series we will address the notion that any world view or belief system can have the corner on truth.

March 13-14
New Testament…Fact or Fiction?
Is the Christian New Testament really reliable? Can the eyewitness testimonies be trusted? How does the New Testament stack up to other ancient literature or religious texts? These are the questions we will explore in this week’s message.

Christianity’s Proven Wrong…Right?
There have been so many new discoveries in the last 20 years proving that traditional Christianity isn’t very  trustworthy….right? What about all of Dan Brown’s, and others, findings about the early church? We will explore many of these startling claims to see if traditional Christianity still holds up under all this new evidence.

March 27-28
Jesus…Can I Have Him My Way? (Burger King Spoof?)
Teacher, prophet, revolutionary, social reformer, moral leader…shouldn’t I be able to pick and choose what I believe about Jesus?  What is wrong with using what I need from Jesus and ignoring the rest. This is what the majority of our culture does with Jesus. In this 4th message we will look at the weaknesses of this approach.

April 2 Good Friday
Why Did Jesus Have to Die?
If God is so loving and kind and gracious and forgiving why did a good man have to die? Why couldn’t God just forgive? As we take a somber and sober look at the Good Friday events we will discover the eternally important intersection of absolute justice and unconditional grace.

April 4 Easter
Resurrection…Are You Serious?
Jesus’ resurrection…myth, legend, religious fanaticism, children’s bedtime story or the actual events of history? On Easter Sunday we will address the most important question of all.  Not only does all of Christianity, but all of history, hangs in the balance on the answer to this single, most important question.
