Scripture:
We value that the Bible is the inspired word of God, foundational for all of life and always relevant for all people.
Worship:
We value worship that is God-centered,
celebratory and relevant. Worship is not an event, but rather,
the very reason for being.
Prayer:
We value prayer as not only our wonderful lifeline
to a God who loves us, but also as the way in which God
empowers us to carry out His world changing mission.
Pre-Christians:
We value that lost people matter very much
to God and so they should matter to us. We will design our
church and teach our people with this value in mind. Every
Christian has the privilege and responsibility to advance the
Kingdom of God.
Lay Ministry:
We value that the ministry should not be solely
in the hands of "trained professionals," but in the hands of
the people. We value that all Christians are ministers and
should be ministering in their gifts.
Multiplication:
We value that every Christian should multiply
him/herself in the lives of those around them. This means
mentoring, discipline and training others in the things of
God. We provide many opportunities for Christians at every
level of maturity to grow and "reproduce". This value applies
not only to people, but to our church as a whole. We will
plant other churches.
Community Groups:
We value that people grow and develop
best within the context of a community group. This is why
we try to get people involved in the many growth groups we
offer.
