What is a community group?
A community group is where a group of people connect relationally, emotionally and spiritually. It is a place where friendships are built and fun is had!
Who can participate in a community group?
God’s design is for everyone to be involved in community. Anyone can participate in our community groups. In fact we encourage our community group participants to invite friends and neighbors who may not know Jesus Christ to their community groups.
Do I have to know a lot about the Bible to be a part of a Community Group?
Absolutely not! The Bible will be used in your community group, but we are all there to support and encourage one another, whether we know a lot about the Bible or a little.
How often do groups meet?
We have groups that meet weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly.
Where do community groups meet?
Most of our community groups meet in homes, but we have some groups that meet at the church, at coffee shops, restaurants, etc. There are unlimited possibilities!
How do I get signed up for a community group?
There are several ways to get connected in a community group. You can sign up at the information table, you can contact Pastor Troy or one of our coaches, See the back side of this brochure for contact information. You can click here and use our online signup form.
Is childcare provided?
Some community groups offer childcare, some groups get together and hire a babysitter for their children, and some take turns watching the kids on a weekly basis. Contact Pastor Troy, one of our coaches, or a community group leader for more information.
Can I start up my own community group?
Yes. We are always looking for new community group leaders. Several times a year we will conduct a leadership orientation training to help launch new Community Group leaders. If you are interested in leading a group, please contact Pastor Troy or one of the coaches.
We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)
